I know a lot of people will say that for the same amount of money you can build a killer desktop setup but people who buy gaming laptops buy them for the option of portability. I like to have the option to take my gaming rig with me. On with the review ,1- Build Quality , being an owner of an Alienware rig too , I was a bit worried this would dissappoint in the looks department. To be honest , the exterior is a bit plasticky . But once you get over the same , the build quality is quite solid and sturdy. The keyboard is responsive and feels solid.2- Hardware , pretty impressive collection of parts for the price. I read that the newer versions are shipping with the GTX675M now instead of the GTX670 , however the ram has reduced from 3 to 2 . Having said that the 675 is slightly faster. Your choice here. Windows Index gave it a 5.9 rating . Not sure why given the OS is installed on the SSD . Maybe the rating still takes into account the other HD. Will check on this too.3- Software and Games , so far it has run everything i have throw at with no problems at all . Not a lot of "bloatware" but everything can be removed if required. One issue i found is GFWL can't run with OEM LAN Card Driver/Software installed. It needs to be uninstalled for GFWL to run. Odd but there you go .Overall I give this product 5 stars for value for money and performance . Bought mine for $1650 before taxes . You can't find a laptop with similar specifications for that price anywhere.
